Season: Spring

I stopped shopping at Banana Republic a while back, mostly because I just didn’t like their clothing anymore. For a while it was all so boxy and masculine, which, as you can probably tell from this blog, is not at all my thing. Plus, BR tends to be more expensive than I think they’re really worth.

I spied a dress I really liked on another blogger recently and when I found out it was Banana Republic I decided to give their new arrivals a glance. I’m glad I did. They’ve gone back to carrying feminine styles with nice details, like the embroidery on this blouse. Plus, if I shop with some patience I can likely get a nice discount as they’re always having sales. Perhaps BR will see me coming through their doors again soon.

What do you think of this boho chic look? I generally shy away from festival fashion, but I do like to incorporate pretty bohemian pieces into my wardrobe occasionally.

  3. I like my boho in moderation, so I think these are great, but not over-the-top picks! I love that scarf with the tassels especially. I’m definitely going to check out the healthy snack article–I’ve been a snacking fiend lately!

  4. I never shopped at Banana Republic because they are totally out of my price range. I do like their items though. And I agree with you on boho…I like to mix it into my wardrobe but not be head to toe boho.
