I’ve been spying ASOS’ dresses around the fashion community more and more and they just seem to be getting better. It looks to me like they’ve upped the quality of their items a bit since I last shopped there (several years ago).

One of the things I’m liking in particular is the length of these dresses. In the past, pretty much everything I found on ASOS was more shirt than dress–a stiff breeze would have bared my choice of underwear to the world. These are a much more comfortable length.

The other thing I’m liking is how unique each dress is. I love the body-length ruffle on the first dress. Not only is it beautiful, I’m sure it would do a good job hiding any bloating in the stomach region (lets be honest, it happens). The kimono dress is perfection–the slouchy shoulders are so chic. I love the print on the purple dress. It’s anything but dull.

The dark floral midi is probably my favorite of all these dresses. It’s absolutely perfect for fall. The length is decidedly work appropriate and will also keep your legs warm. I love the regal print so much that I’m even willing to ignore the exposed zipper in the back (decidedly the worst trend to come along since bubble hems and hair scrunchies). Bardot necklines are always chic, and the light floral is beautiful. And finally the skater dress is the perfect mix of casual and structured. Navy and creamy white will never go out of style.

So there you have it, my latest ASOS picks. I’m seriously considering purchasing the dark floral midi. I deserve a bit of a present for getting a new job, right?
