A key part of putting together a good outfit, in my opinion, is choosing garments that are right for your body type. I’m pear-shaped, so outfits that accentuate my waist will always look the most flattering on me. For that reason, I always go for skirts that hit at my natural waist line, like this flared skater skirt.
Rosegal, an overseas retailer, asked me to do a review of their clothing. I poked through their collection and landed on this skirt and a dress I’ll be featuring soon. As far as overseas retailers go, I was quite impressed. Their items run true to the sizing listed and arrived in a reasonable amount of time. This skirt is a thick, good quality felty material that should keep me nice and warm in the winter. The best thing about a retailer like Rosegal is that their prices are so darn low. If you’re shopping on a budget, I’d give them a look.
Other than the obvious need to dress warmly, the key to winter fashion really is in the details. I like to pair warmer, thicker skirts like this one with bold tights and printed accents, like these leopard pumps. The nice thing about winter fashion is that you get to wear so many different garments, all of which can be paired together to create really great looks.
Having said that, my tights collection is so enormous that I’m looking for new storage options. If you have any good storage tips or tricks for accessories I’d love to hear about them in the comments!
