Temperatures are dropping in Chicago, so I’m breaking out my cozy fall outfits. This sweater is so soft and comfy–I think I’m going to be living in it for the next few months. I sized up to a medium to get the over-sized look, and also so it would be long enough to wear with leggings. I purchased these leggings on sale at Loft–at $50 full price they’re a bit much for me to spend on leggings ordinarily, but I waited for one of Loft’s many 40% off sales to make the purchase. They’re super thick and warm. I would never wear them as pants, but I can say that they’re not even remotely see-through.
These boots are care of Wolverine, a company that mostly produces work boots but is making a foray into the fashion world. In the past most of my boot purchases have been in the lower price range so I’ve had varying results on quality. These boots are probably the highest quality riding boots I’ve ever worn, and I can definitely discern a difference. The leather is nice and thick and seems very durable. I’m wearing a size 9.5, which at first seemed a bit tight on me but because they’re real leather they stretched out quite nicely already and fit very comfortably on my feet. So far I’d have to say I’m impressed with them.
