I’m still amazed that I shot this in February, a month normally reserved for Vitamin-D deficiency and hating the air itself for how much it hurts the moment you set foot outside. In comparison this February, with its 50 and 60 degree days has been absolutely blissful.
If you’re also a Midwesterner, I hope you’ve partaken in our good fortune. We did everything we could to get outside, including dining on the roof, taking long walks, and wearing outfits like this one–sans tights!
I’m a fan of this skirt in particular because it’s so flattering. It cinches in at the natural waist and then flares out for a nice feminine shape. I always have a rule that if I’m wearing something that’s looser on the bottom then I’ll wear something tight on the top and vice versa. If you wear billowy items on both the top and bottom things tend to look a little disheveled. Tight on both can be okay, but it can be a bit sexy. It all depends on what you’re going for.
