I’ve had this dress since New York and Company had their seasonal sale last spring. It’s a great work dress, though here I’ve styled it to be a bit more date-wear than office-wear. Toss a blazer over it and it’s fine for 9 to 5.
The jewelry is from this year’s New York and Company moving sale. If you’re a Chicago girl, head down to their State Street store for 40% off literally everything in store. I stopped in there last week before my haircut to return a few online purchases and nearly lost it when I realized how big the sale was. I didn’t have much time, so I scoured the jewelry aisles as quickly as I could to come away with these gems. I also grabbed these mirrored sunnies, which I love but I do find that they stick out a bit far from my face. I didn’t notice this in store. The nose grips are strangely long. Anybody know of an easy solution for this?
The heels are from Macy’s friend’s and family sale this spring. They’re a much bolder color than my average pair of heels–usually I stick with blacks and nudes, but this pop of color is really pleasing me. Looks like I need to branch out more often.
