I found this dark floral fit-and-flare dress at Forever 21 for less than $30. I’ve really been into their spring collection. Just look at how normal the length on this dress is! Too often, I find dresses that are basically shirt length at Forever 21. But not this dress. With its lush floral pattern, I’ve been finding any excuse to wear it this spring. It’s a nice work alternative to the other dark floral dress I purchased this spring and featured a few weeks ago.
One of the nice things about a colorful print like this one is that you can pair pretty much anything with it. I was pleased that I could pull off such a miss-matched shoe and tote combo with this dress just because both hues can be found in the dress itself.
Pearl jewelry is always my go-to. I find that you don’t need to spend a lot of money or wear real pearls to incorporate their classy elegence into any look. In fact, none of the pearls I’m wearing here are real (though I do have a nice set of real freshwater pears that I break out for special occasions). If you’re looking to get some nice fake pearls, I recommend heading over to Macy’s. They carry tons of great faux pearl options.
I love seeing daffodils sprout up all over the city in the spring–they’re just so bright and pretty. Maybe I’ve always liked them because they signify the end of winter, or maybe it’s that they look like tiny bright teacups on stems. Either way, they’re one of my favorite flowers.
