The two Felicity & Coco maxi dresses I brought to Hawaii were by far and away the most comfortable garments I packed. I loved them. I wanted to live in them. They were perfect for cozying up with coffee and a book in the morning or for the evening, post-poolside. I featured the other one, a hi-lo orange and pink maxi, about a month ago.
If you’re heading somewhere tropical, a maxi dress like this is a must. I suggest going for a quality jersey dress. Not only is jersey soft, it also is wrinkle resistant. Who wants to spend their tropical vacation choosing between being wrinkly and ironing?
If you’re heading to the Caribbean or anywhere a bit rural/rustic, you need to have a few garments in your suitcase that cover your legs. In the evening, biting insects love to come out and feast on exposed feet and legs. A dress like this can keep you nice and covered. Even if you’re going somewhere without biting bugs, temperatures can drop with the sun and leave you chilly if all you brought are skimpy sundresses.
Since it’s sold out, here are a few similar options to the dress I’m wearing:
Given that both of the Felicity & Coco maxi dresses I bought were such winners (here’s my post featuring the other one), I’m going to keep my eye on the brand going forward. You can find them at Nordstrom, which means you can also find them at Nordstrom Rack, which is where I bought both of mine for less than $20 each.
