So, I’d like to note, before anyone tries to call me out, that I did NOT take these pictures on Christmas morning. I took them several days before Christmas, when the presents actually all fit under the tree. By Christmas morning, with my fiance’s family and my family together, half the living room was covered with packages.
Lets talk about the outfit. Victoria’s Secret is my go to for sleepwear. It’s way higher quality than nearly anything else I’ve found, and if you get it on sale (which you always can if you’re smart) the price point isn’t bad either. The fireside sleep shirt that I’m wearing here is made from a thermal fabric that is actually so warm I rarely can wear it to bed without roasting nearly to death under the covers. I reserve it for chilly occasions, and instead wear their regular sleep tee. The only thing not to like about them are the graphic prints/phrases plastered cross the chest. Luckily, they always have a few decent options, like the leopard print or the the fountain blue heather one with the heart on it.
I actually asked for several varieties of Victoria’s Secret PJs this year for Christmas, including the Fireside Long Jane in fairisle and the The Dreamer Flannel in plaid. I got the long Janes and I quite like them. The thermal material is just lightly thinner and softer than the material on my nightie so they’re extremely comfortable to sleep in. The photos of their models in them are slightly misleading though, I have to say. They’re definitely baggier and, I dare say, slightly less sexy than the models portray. That said, I don’t even think I really mind due to the comfort and warmth. I’ve been wearing them nightly since Christmas morning.
