I love this new camel sweater dress so much that I couldn’t pick just one way to style it, so I settled on three. That’s the great thing about this dress–it’s so versatile that you can pair it with almost anything and it works. Plus a dress like this will keep you cozy and warm–a necessity, if your winter weather is anything like ours here in Chicago.
Enough chit chat, lets get on to the styling!

For the first look I went with a fall color scheme. Monochromatic looks always look super stylish, especially when they’re in a classic, neutral color. I feel like it can be common to get too caught up in exactly matching hues. I think as long as you keep things in a similar range, it almost creates more dimension to have slightly different shades of the same color, as I’ve done here. What do you think?

One of the brilliant things about camel is just how well it pairs with bolder colors, like holiday red. I think this festive look might just be what I wear for our Christmas Eve festivities this year.

A few notes on items in this look: first, the tights, as great as they are, come with a word of warning. They’re very short. I was easily within the height and weight range listed on the package, and yet they’re barely long enough for me to wear. Proceed with caution. Second, I just purchased these pumps on mega sale from Sole Society. They’re super versatile and comfy. I own them in two colors, and am considering more. A girl can never have too many shoes–at least that’s what I’m telling myself.

Sometimes a simple outfit is the best outfit. You may have noticed that I wore slightly different shades of tinted lip balm with each look. With this outfit I’m wearing the darkest one I own for a more moody, glamorous look. I’m also wearing some thick sweater tights–another winter staple. This is probably how I most often wear my sweater dresses.

I like all 3 ways you styled your sweater dress. If I had to pick one I would pick #1 the Cognac one with the belt. I have to agree a girl can’t have too many shoes.
I have to wear sweaters because of my location. Come check out my blog
